Veterans

We love our veterans.  And we never want our veterans to feel alone, uncared for, or unloved.

usflagYou gave us so much.  You gave us your time.  You gave us your heart, your mind, your spirit and your soul.  And if needed, you would have given us your life.  Many of the brave men and women you shared the field of battle with in fact made that most ultimate sacrifice.

Perhaps the experiences and memories are too much sometimes.  Perhaps it’s lead you down the wrong path, and addictions and emotional disability have become the norm for you.

We want to help in some small way.  We’ve provided here a list of resources that could aid you in seeking a normal life, at home, far from the battlefield.

If you are in immediate need of help, or are in a crisis, please grab the nearest telephone and dial 9-1-1.  You can also get a ride to the nearest hospital emergency room and tell the greeter you are in need of immediate counseling.  You can also get over-the-phone crisis counseling by calling 1(800)-273-TALK (8255).   Press option 1 for veterans.

The U.S Department of Veterans Affairs also has prime resources for those who have served our nation.  The VA is well-aware and well-practiced in identifying and treating veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD.
